ABOUT US

30 years ago, Florplant started as a small wholesale with 1 cash and carry service. From that time we have grown up into the largest flower import company in the Czech Republic. We currently operate 5 cash-and-carries and cover, in cooperation with our dealers, 90% of all florist shops in the Czech Republic. We import flowers from our partners in many countries all over the world - the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, France, Slovakia, Poland and from such exotic locations as Colombia, Thailand, Guatemala or Ecuador. For shipments from Colombia we use Amsterdam as the airport of destination, we collect shipments and have our own cargo agent in Bogota.


We further deliver flowers all over the Czech Republic to direct customers, in specially equipped trucks. This ensures that only fresh flowers in perfect condition are delivered to the clients. Florplant has its own transport - 3 big-space lorries, and in the high-season we also hire services of other transport companies. Regular places of loading - several times a week - are both the flower auction locations - Aalsmeer and Westland.  Florplant has also a chain of 7 dealers, selling fresh flowers to the florist shops in Slovakia, covering about 25% of the Slovak area. We also supply some partner importers in Poland.


In order to meet the needs and demands of our big clients (supermarket networks) a specialized department has been established. The department manages organisation of supplies to various networks of supermarkets which operate hundreds of individual shops and stores. Moreover, the department uses programmes, i.e. long-term planes to purchase directly from producers and suppliers as well as to successfully collaborate with other Florplant cash and carry branches distributing goods to other customers. Strict payment morale - what is important, Florplant is known by its strict payment morale and business ethics listed further - no late payments, i.e. payments always in time, strict order in administration and paperwork within the company, bookeeping, troley/packing administration, CMR administration, strict logistic, planning department. We will be happy to provide any new supplier with our payment references from over 50 suppliers all around the world, who have grown with us.
